Europlanet Benelux Hub: Industry/policy focus
Horizon Europe Europlanet Research Infrastructure (RI) - Europlanet Society Sustainability
Europlanet Society now has a legal structure! The Royal Decree for the new Europlanet Association Sans But Lucratif (AISBL), a not-for-profit association under Belgian law, has been published in the Official Belgian Monitor.
The Europlanet Association is hosted by the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy (BIRA-IASB) in Brussels. The new Association will not only ensure the Europlanet Society’s sustainability, but will also enable Europlanet to pursue a sustainable model for its Research Infrastructure (RI) services, including transnational access to laboratories and field sites and its suite of virtual data services.
Our main aims:
- To expand and support a diverse and inclusive planetary community across and outside Europe through the activities of our 10 Regional Hubs
- To build the profile of our sector through outreach, education and policy activities.
- To underpin the key role Europe plays in planetary science through developing links at a national and international level.
